Here at Longmeadow Farm, apples aren't the only thing we sell. In fact we have much more that can be purchased and we find that there are more than a few people that come back just for these items!
As well as apples we at Longmeadow Farm sell pumpkins for Halloween and the Thanksgiving season. The pumpkins we sell are great for just about everything from carving to baking. Even their seeds are excellent, bake them up or let them dry naturally and you'll have a great snack.
During the pumpkin season we also offer and assortment of gourds, squash and Halloween decoration items such as cornstalks and bales of hay.
Also during the season we also offer hayrides to and from the pumpkin patch which takes a long and winding path through Spook Hollow. Our Pumpkin season starts the first weekend in October and runs through the last weekend before Halloween and as always, open only on the weekends.
Longmeadow also provides freshly cut flowers to its customers. Every season Longmeadow plants hundreds upon hundreds of Sunflowers of all shapes and sizes, ranging from large centered bright yellow flowers to small centered dark petaled flowers.
Along with the sunflowers, we grow a wide array of brightly colored Zinnias . Another decorative flower we sell is the gladiola. This long green stem grows up to 10 buds . Again, these flowers come in a wide range of colors and look great in any arrangement. Always cut fresh and always available any day of the week.
